Elizabeth Aboulafia

Elizabeth joined Elecnor Hawkeye in May 2025 as General Counsel, bringing with her a strong background in construction law and a deep commitment to collaborative, values-driven leadership. Before joining the company, Liz was a partner at a regional law firm where she focused on construction litigation and contract negotiation. She holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Delaware (magna cum laude, 2005) and a J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law (magna cum laude, 2008).

At Elecnor Hawkeye, Liz manages legal affairs across the company, including contract negotiations, compliance, risk management, dispute resolution, and corporate governance. She works closely with project teams throughout all phases of the project lifecycle and plays a key role in the development and negotiation of complex EPC contracts.

Liz is particularly passionate about projects where careful alignment of scope and risk during contract development is essential to successful execution. She is known for her practical, business-oriented approach to legal challenges and values clear communication and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
